Cookie Policy

Cookies are a type of short term memory for the web.  They are stored within your browser and enable a site to 'remember' little bits of information between pages or visits as you go through the site its collects this information automatically.

Cookies are widely used to make your web experience more personal, this is seen as a positive thing to most people, a normal web practice. However some cookies are very sophisticated, they are able to collect data across many websites, creating what has been termed 'behavioral profiles' of people. You have probably noticed in web browsers or your Hotmail or Gmail accounts there is targeted advertising shown to you, unless you pay to have it removed you would have noticed it.

This advertising within your accounts occurs due to you cruising around the net, your own behavioral profile can then be used to decide what content or adverts to show you. This use of cookies for targeting in particular is what the law was designed to highlight. By requiring websites to inform and obtain consent from visitors it aims to give web users more control over their online privacy.

Below is a list of what cookies we collect and briefly how we use some of the information learnt from those cookies.
